Osaka Head Office & Factory ■Illustration of Hydrogen Supply Chain with Liquefied Hydrogen Carrier Our Initiatives for Valves for Ultra-low Temperature Applications History Butterfly valve for liquefied hydrogen with vacuum jacket (prototype for testing with LH2) Control valve for ultra-low temperature with vacuum jacket Butterfly valve for ultra-low temperature for LNG Control valve for highpressure and ultra-low temperature for LNG Since the 1970s, we have delivered more than 1,400 valves for ultra-low temperature applications using LH2, LNG, LN2, etc., including rocket fuels. We have also manufactured regulating or shutoff globe valves with vacuum jackets to reduce thermal ingress. From 2020, we have developed the "Technological Development of Large Butterfly Valve for Liquefied Hydrogen" jointly with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), with funding from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). Through product development, we will contribute to the development of supply chains for power generation and other large-scale applications toward the realization of a hydrogen society in the future. Developed control valves and shutoff valves for liquefied hydrogen used in rocket fuel supply lines. From 1970 Developed butterfly valves for low-temperature uses on LPG carriers. Developed large-bore, globe control valves for air separation equipment facilities. Developed safety valves and self-operated valves for LNG facilities. Started manufacturing and sales of butterfly valves for LNG carriers (business tie-up with Sasakura Engineering Co., Ltd.). Developed control valves for LNG carrier regasification systems. Conducted NEDO project "Technological Development of Large Bore Butterfly Valve for Liquefied Hydrogen" jointly with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
